Brian Peters
Brian Peters is the Senior Corporate Vice President, Organizational Strategic Development at the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA). In addition he serves as the Executive Director of the MHA Health Foundation.
Peters currently serves as a board member for seven major organizations around the state of Michigan, including, the Alliance for Advancing Nonprofit Healthcare Board and the American Hospital Association Regional Policy Board; Peters also holds the vice chairmanship of the Michigan Health Insurance Access Advisory Council (MHIAC). He has served as the Treasurer of the Michigan Rural Health Association, Coordinator of the Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives, Coordinator of the Michigan Osteopathic Hospital Association, and Trustee of Charlevoix Area Hospital.
Peters holds a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University, completed the Health Executive’s Development Program at Cornell University, and has studied the British health care system with the King’s Fund College in London.
